Our Services
01.Support Groups
You don't have to face brain injury alone. Our support groups and coffee groups provide a relaxed place to meet others who have experience of brain injury. You can have a cuppa, ask questions, share experiences or simply spend time with people who understand. There is no pressure to talk about your brain injury. Come as you are. We have groups and coffee meet-ups across the Wellington region, Hutt Valley, Porirua, Kāpiti and Wairarapa.
02.One-to-One Support
Talk through what is happening and work out what support may be useful.
03.Advocacy & Navigating Services
We can help you understand information, prepare for conversations and meetings, ask questions, and navigate services such as ACC and other government agencies. We may also connect you with other organisations when another service is better placed to help.
04.Information & Resources
We provide education and presentations about brain injury to schools, community groups, organisations and agencies. Our education focuses on increasing understanding of brain injury, recognising how it can affect people and exploring practical ways to support someone living with a brain injury. We can tailor presentations to the needs of your organisation or group.
05.Education
Brain injury awareness and education for schools, workplaces and community organisations.
06.Brain Injury ID Cards
A practical way to help explain to others that you have a brain injury and may need extra time, patience or support.
